Wisconsin job-unfriendly?

According to the poll taken before Governor Walker got some of his reforms passed:

MADISON — A new survey ranking the Badger State as not having the most business friendly climate was conducted before Gov. Scott Walker and the GOP-led Legislature's pro-business laws took effect.

And economic development leaders say the Walker administration is sending the message that times are changing in Wisconsin.

The survey of 322 top executives of U.S. companies with annual revenue of $25 million or more by Development Counsellors International, or DCI, ranked Wisconsin as the 13th worst in the nation because of costs, taxes and lack of incentives.

Asked to name the three states with the best business climates, only 2.5 percent of respondents listed Wisconsin, which tied New Hampshire at 31st place, according to the New York-based marketing firm's online survey conducted from May 15 to June 15.

The 2011 survey was conducted before legislation, such as tort reform and income-tax incentives for businesses that come to Wisconsin, went into effect.

So, what do business leaders think of us now?

I KNOW what the unions think...
