The proposal could move the federal government closer into alignment with what has been proposed by longtime Barack Obama adviser Cass Sunstein.   Obama's "regulatory czar" was revealed in 2009 to have pushed strongly for the removal of organs from those who did not give their consent to becoming an organ donor. In his book, "Nudge: Improving Decisions about Health, Wealth and Happiness," Sunstein and co-author Richard Thaler presented the possibility of the "routine removal" of organs because "the state owns the rights to body parts of people who are dead or in certain hopeless conditions, and it can remove their organs without asking anyone's permission." "Though it may sound grotesque, routine removal is not impossible to defend," he wrote. "In theory, it would save lives, and it would do so without intruding on anyone who has any prospect for life." He also has argued for presumed consent, the idea that anyone who has not left specific orders against organ donation is a voluntary contributor to the program, a plan that has been proposed in some state legislatures as recently as the last few years. A spokeswoman for the the operators of the Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network told WND that a new round of public comments will be heard regarding the issue that the CMA said would allow those caring for critically ill patients to start considering them for their potential to donate organs while they remain alive. "Gone [would be] the crucial wall separating patient care from donation solicitations," said a letter this week from the chief of the CMA. "Such undue influence on difficult decisions at a heart-wrenching time is ethically unacceptable." PETA Announces Launch of Porn Website

Known for outlandish publicity stunts and headline grabbing antics, PETA is turning up the heat with the planned launch of a new xxx website. The controversial animal rights group says it plans to launch the porn site to raise awareness of veganism. One can only imagine what vegetables might be employed – but soon nothing will be left to the imagination when the site goes live.

“We’re hoping to reach a whole new audience of people, some of whom will be shocked by graphic images that maybe they didn’t anticipate seeing when they went to the Peta triple-X site,” said Peta’s associate director of campaigns, Lindsay Rajt. Rajt says the website will promote veganism by using a mix of pornography and graphic footage of animal suffering.

Peta will launch the site when new .xxx domains activate in December. Of course, critics are getting a head start. Gender and sexuality studies program director for Princeton University, Jill Dolan, said: “Exploiting porn to get people’s juices going seems lame; exploiting pornographic images only of women to make their point is retrograde and misogynist. Come on, Peta. Don’t be Neanderthals.”

The recent Republican primary debates have been downright shocking, with candidates calling Social Security a Ponzi scheme, audience members cheering to let uninsured people die, and each contender racing to shut down the EPA first.

Watching the GOP try to roll back all the progress we’ve made is infuriating, but we can’t get discouraged. We’ve got to fight back!

I promise to do just that, but I’ve got a whole slew of Republicans who want to take my seat and take over the Senate. And believe me, they’re going to attack me with everything they’ve got.

Social Security IS a Ponzi scheme - it was designed that way from the start. The "audience members cheering to let uninsured people die" were razzing the leftie moderator, and shutting down the un-Constitutional EPA should be a high priority for anyone who wants to get America back on track as a free, prosperous nation.


Her priorities - screwing up the morale of our military, supporting abortion and trying to further destroy America's remaining manufacturing base through a runaway EPA and other bureaus - what else needs to be said?


I didn't know Karl Rove was so rich he could give "millions' to the Republican Party, did you?


Watching the Tea Party grow, which got all those Republicans in there in the last election really galls these people. Knowing that history is passing them by must really hurt, when all they want to do is to force us into neat little pigeonholes where we can us all be nice little Soviet slaves.


We have until the 30th to donate to people who might actually help us out of this mess. If I run into any money - read, get a job - I will be backing Alan West and Herman Cain.
