I wonder how many seeing this will recognize that the Demonrats are responsible for most of the troubles they are singing about?

Desperation
This morning, I heard a truck start up out front - got the the west windows in time to see a UPS truck accelerating west.
No package was left.
Later on, while mowing, I noticed my two "I Stand With Governor Walker" signs were gone. Later on while riding home from the hardware store, I saw a similar sign was missing from a neighbor's house.
Just supposition and circumstantial evidence, but aren't UPS drivers all in the Teamster's Union?
And aren't all good union people supposed to stick together?
The recall election for Scott Walker is Tuesday, and he's leading in several polls, leading with yard signs I have seen, and leading big with donations. Osama and friends in the Demonratic Party are avoiding Barrett like he's a Tea Party candidate.
I think the Demonrats here in Wisconsin are seeing the writing on the wall - and it says "we are NOT going to allow you to dictate to us any longer".
We'll see how well such desperation plays out in four days.

They keep raising the multiplier
Just got this:
Hi Chuck --
Boehner is scared. He actually admitted this week that the House is up for grabs.
But if we're serious about winning a Democratic House, we need to send a million dollar message to the Republicans, the media, and everyone else that we've got what it takes to win.
The FEC deadline hits in 24 hours. We're just $37K short. Can you chip in $3? It'll be triple-matched:

Friend -- As you may have noticed, we've asked you for a donation a few times now. But according to our records, you haven't yet made an online donation to this campaign at this email address. (If our records are wrong, I apologize and thank you!) I'm not writing to ask you for money again. I'm actually writing to ask your opinion about why you haven't given, and what you think would inspire you or other Obama supporters like you to decide to take the leap and donate. We have two quick questions for you. Can you take a minute to answer them? There's a good reason we're asking for your feedback: The kind of organization we all decided to be a part of only works if people like you pitch in to build it. It's also the reason no other candidate has been able to match our level of grassroots support. This isn't the easiest way to run a campaign -- but we know it's the right way. That's why we want to know what you're thinking. Please take a minute to answer these two questions today: http://my.barackobama.com/Your-Support-In-2012 Thanks so much, Rufus Rufus Gifford National Finance Director Obama for America P.S. -- Of course, if you'd like to become one of our million-plus grassroots donors today, by all means, please make a donation of $3 or whatever you can afford. |

Friend -- Here's something a lot of folks have been telling us they wanted to see in the 2012 online store: iPhone cases. I'm happy to say, we got them in this week. Take a look: There are four different designs to choose from -- and they're among the first iPhone cases to be made here in the USA. So give $40 or more and get one today -- for yourself or someone you know: https://donate.barackobama.com/Get-an-iPhone-Case Thanks, Rufus Rufus Gifford National Finance Director Obama for America |

Contributions or gifts to Obama Victory Fund 2012 are not tax deductible.
The
first $5,000 of a contribution to OVF 2012 will be allocated to Obama
for America (with the first $2,500 designated for the primary election,
and the next $2,500 for the general). The next $30,800 of a
contribution will be allocated to the Democratic National Committee. A
contributor may designate a contribution for a particular participant.
This allocation formula may change if following it would result in an
excessive contribution.

Demonrats demonstrate lack of historical knowledge
and, they are getting desperate:
It's amusing that the party responsible for the Jim Crow laws should be accusing the party historically opposed to them of using those tactics.
++++++++++++++++
Want to support our work? MoveOn Civic Action is entirely funded by our 5 million members—no corporate contributions, no big checks from CEOs. And our tiny staff ensures that small contributions go a long way. Chip in here.

Maybe if Demonrats didn't have such a flawless record over decades of using the dead and illegal vote to pad the ballot box, they would have a ghost of a chance of this working with learned people.

| Subject: URGENT: GOP plan to the steal election |

Dear MoveOn member,
Imagine Mitt Romney in the White House. Tea party Republicans still in control of Congress. No Obama to veto their worst bills.
The election is months away, but this scenario could definitely happen, and here's a big reason why: voter suppression laws passed by Republicans in battleground states to make it as hard as possible for students, poor people, African-Americans, and Latinos to vote.
Already, Wisconsin, Florida, and Ohio have passed laws to restrict voter registration drives, end early voting, or require voters to present photo IDs at the polls.1 And now Republicans are scrambling to pass laws in virtually every other key battleground state to make it harder to vote in 2012.
These laws shamelessly target key segments of the Obama coalition from 2008, including first-time voters, poor people, and people of color, and could easily tip a close election to Mitt Romney or whoever the Republican nominee is. We're looking at Florida in 2000 all over again.
The good news is that Attorney General Eric Holder has used the Voting Rights Act to block one of the worst GOP voter suppression laws in South Carolina. But the election won't be decided in South Carolina—and to protect every vote Holder needs to keep going.
It'll be a huge fight with Republicans, and with the election approaching, we don't have much time. So we're aiming to raise at least $150,000 this week to launch an emergency grassroots campaign for voting rights. Can you chip in $5?
Yes, I can give $5 to help stop the GOP attack on voting rights.
Here's our plan: First, we'll team up with the leading voting rights groups in each state—great organizations like the Advancement Project, who have top-notch expertise in the policy but who don't have the grassroots network that MoveOn has.
Then, MoveOn will organize events to deliver petitions calling out the Republican legislators behind these despicable attacks on voting rights, swamp their phone lines, and show Attorney General Holder that if they refuse to back down, we'll be right there with him.
Voting is one of the most sacred rights in our democracy. But Republicans know that if they can shave off even 1-2% of turnout among these key voting blocs, it'll be enough to tip the scales in race after race.
These laws are a major attack on voting rights. Nationwide, 21 million eligible voters lack the kinds of photo ID required by these laws.2 And especially if you're elderly, poor, or a student, it's not easy to jump through the hoops required by these laws.
Take Joy Lieberman of Missouri. She's 80 years old and has been voting for 60 years. But now she won't be able to vote because her birth certificate does not list her middle name. Or Larry Butler, who was born in 1926 in South Carolina, when birth certificates often were not issued to black Americans. Now, it would cost Mr. Butler $150 to get the documents required by South Carolina's voter suppression law.3
The 2012 election is coming up fast, so we don't have much time. Can you chip in $5?
Yes, I can give $5 to help stop the GOP attack on voting rights.
Thanks for all you do.

Damn. I CAN imagine Romney in the White House, and that lacking a really citizen-responsive CONgress, it would be as big a disaster as Osama, if not worse.

He loses sleep over this
Poor Steve -he's getting to the point he's hallucinating.
++++++++++++++Chuck --
With the 2012 elections less than a year away, Republicans are relentlessly working to disenfranchise voters nationwide. Up to 5 million voters could be affected with voter suppression laws targeting minorities, seniors, and students around the country.
We will be announcing a major voter protection initiative led by Assistant Leader Jim Clyburn to ensure every American who has the right to vote is able to vote. But we need your help to get going.
We need $100,000 to kick off the DCCC’s Voter Protection Fund. Please contribute $3 or more by Midnight Friday.
Your generous contribution will go directly to our aggressive Voter Protection initiative and send a powerful message to Republicans that we will not allow them to assault voting rights across the country.
Our democracy is at stake. To win the Majority we need Democrats to be able to get out and vote. Frankly, I lose sleep over the possibility that Republicans' voter suppression could swing the 2012 election. We must fight back against the Republicans' undemocratic election strategy and show grassroots Democrats are united and stronger than ever.
We need your support to ensure we have the resources for the major voter protection initiative we’ll be announcing led by Assistant Leader Jim Clyburn to ensure every American who has the right to vote is able to vote.
Stand with us by contributing $3 or more right now to help us kick off our Voter Protection Fund.
Thank you,
Rep. Steve Israel
DCCC Chairman
P.S. Republicans are working tirelessly in deliberate and calculated efforts with state governments nationwide to assault Americans’ voting rights. We can’t let them get away with it. Contribute to our Voter Protection Fund today >>

I agree - we can't let the Demonrats get away with stuffing the ballot box with votes from the dead, serial voters paid in cigarettes and cheap wine, or with votes from "undocumented aliens". We have to stand up and defend our various state's laws that require voters to demonstrate they are who they claim to be before they are given a ballot or are allowed into a voting booth.
One paragraph stands out:
Our democracy is at stake. To win the Majority we need Democrats to be able to get out and vote. Frankly, I lose sleep over the possibility that Republicans' voter suppression could swing the 2012 election. We must fight back against the Republicans' undemocratic election strategy and show grassroots Democrats are united and stronger than ever.
I take that as an admission that many, if not most Demonrat votes could not stand up to the light of day, and this fraud is all that keeps them winning any elections, anywhere.

Chuck --
Since taking office, President Obama and Democrats in Congress have been focused on supporting the President’s vision for America as an architect of peace, a champion of justice, a defender of international law and a leading economic power.
Republican leadership, on the other hand, wants to obstruct this progress and set President Obama up for failure. As Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell told a reporter last year, his highest priority is to make President Obama a one-term President. We cannot sit back and allow the Republican strategy of delay and obstructionism to succeed.
Now is the time for us to step forward.
House Democrats have set a $1 million fundraising goal by the September 30th Federal Election Commission fundraising deadline.
Contribute $3 or more before Midnight September 30th and your support will be matched dollar-for-dollar by a group of House Democrats.
The amount of money Democrats raise will demonstrate to the world our commitment to President Obama’s leadership and provide momentum for our Party.
With your support, Democrats will continue to put Americans back to work, strengthen our economy, invest in education and restore America’s leadership around the world.
Contribute $3 or more before Midnight September 30th and your support will be matched dollar-for-dollar by a group of House Democrats.
You can help the President achieve his goals by supporting the DCCC’s Million Dollar Match campaign right now.
Thank you,
Madeleine Albright
P.S. Support the Million Dollar Match before September 30th. Remember, for every dollar you give, your support will be matched by generous Democrats with one dollar of their own. Contribute today >>

Gah! Osama has been focused on peace? How many new wars are we in now?
"Champion of justice"?

"Defender of international law"?
WHAT international law? LOST? Agenda 21? Restrictions on free speech a'la Europe?
"Leading economic power"?
This I will admit is true - he's leading us all right, right over a cliff.

WE want to make this perfectly clear. Because of your actions today and in

This includes, your house, your car, the state capitol, and well I won't
tell you all of them because that's just no fun. Since we know that you are
not smart enough to figure out why this is happening to you we have decided
to make it perfectly clear to you. If you and your goonies feel that it's

Just got this:

They make it sound like it's a bad thing to get rid of all the un-Constitutional and wasteful aspects of the federal government!
Then again, I guess it would be bad - for a party so addicted to waste and corruption!

![]() |
| Chuck -- Republicans have said a lot of crazy things this year. They've threatened to repeal health insurance reform and privatize Social Security. They've threatened to eliminate the Department of Education and dismantle the EPA. They've called for boycotting the Census and shutting down the government. Now GOP candidates across the country are embracing yet another extreme idea. They're talking about rolling back -- or eliminating -- the minimum wage. It's the newest proposal from GOP Senate nominees in states across the country: Linda McMahon in Connecticut, Joe Miller in Alaska, Rand Paul in Kentucky, John Raese in West Virginia, and Dino Rossi in Washington. And it's just the latest item on a worn-out agenda that has been repudiated time and time again. But if we let the Republicans win this fall, these candidates are going to see their victories as mandates for extremism. We can nip this in the bud, right now. We've got the team in place to communicate to voters exactly what Republicans are proposing. But we need you to help amplify the message. Chip in $3 or more to help make the case for Democrats in the final weeks. This is a war of ideas that we can win. The voters we're trying to reach reject all of these ideas when they hear about them. But Republicans know that we're still climbing out of this recession, and they're ready to prey on people's frustrations. So the minimum wage becomes a barrier for job creation that "hasn't solved any problems in 50 years" in the words of West Virginia Republican John Raese. Unemployment insurance becomes "unconstitutional" in the words of Alaska Republican Joe Miller. Social Security becomes a "broken" program that "can't be fixed" in the words of Nevada Republican Sharron Angle. We've got a team in place to highlight these extreme ideas -- press staff making the case to reporters and organizers working with millions of volunteers to tell the story on the ground. But if you don't step up, we won't be able to keep it spreading. Pitch in to help amplify the message: http://my.democrats.org/TheMinimumWage Thanks, Jen Jen O'Malley Dillon Executive Director Democratic National Committee |

I love the smell of desperation in the morning...

| Friend -- Two years ago, I met 10 of you. Just before I accepted our party's nomination in front of 80,000 people in Denver, I spoke with 10 grassroots supporters who had won a trip to meet me backstage. I still remember the time we spent together -- because these are the people, like you, who stood with me in 2008, and got me through the tough fights since. But we face another test on November 2nd that will say a lot about our future -- and I need you by my side again. A Supreme Court decision I strongly disagree with has shifted the balance of power in our elections from folks like you to giant corporations. Their massive spending on attack ads could have a real impact on who represents you at all levels of government. Only supporters like you -- and all the work you are doing -- are standing in their way. This may be our toughest fight yet. So next week, just 11 days before the elections, I want to meet three supporters like you backstage at a rally in Las Vegas -- one of the last big rallies of this campaign. Please make a $3 donation now to be automatically entered to win a trip to be at my side at the rally in Vegas. This movement has always been about more than me. It's about change, and the kind of future we envision for this country. The folks I met backstage in Denver told me they wanted health reform, a clean-energy economy, and a resolution to the war in Iraq. They wanted a new kind of politics, and a new kind of leader. It was their hope and expectation that together we would move beyond the status quo, that we would counter the special interests and corporate influence in Washington -- that we would do what was right and necessary for all Americans. With your help, we have made historic progress, but there is much left to do -- and it will not happen without your involvement. I need strong allies in Congress who will stand with us in the tough fights ahead, and I need you to give it all you've got through November 2nd to make sure they can. Your donation today will provide critical support to our Vote 2010 campaign as we reach out to millions of voters who will decide the closest races across the country. It will determine if we pass this test, and win our toughest fight yet. Please donate $3 or more to be automatically entered to win a trip to Las Vegas to meet me backstage: http://my.democrats.org/Backstage I hope to see you out there, President Barack Obama P.S. -- Making a donation automatically registers you for the sweepstakes. You may also enter the sweepstakes without making a contribution either online or via text message -- click here to enter online or here for instructions on how to enter via text message. No minimum contribution is necessary to be registered. No purchase or contribution necessary to enter. Void where prohibited. You can enter the contest without making a contribution by clicking here. Only U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents over the age of 18 who are residents of the 50 states or D.C. are eligible to enter. Entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. on 10/15/10. Three winners will receive one round-trip ticket within the continental U.S. to Las Vegas, NV; hotel accommodations for one; and a meeting with President Obama at a rally event on 10/22/10 (approximate combined retail value $1,200.00). Odds of winning depend on number of entries received. Promotion is subject to Official Rules, available here, including restrictions on eligibility. | |

Getting desperate?
Just got this email from my good buddy Barry:
Getting a bit desperate there, ol' buddy?
| Chuck -- I come into this election with clear eyes. I am proud of all we have achieved together, but I am mindful of all that remains to be done. I know some out there are frustrated by the pace of our progress. I want you to know I'm frustrated, too. But with so much riding on the outcome of this election, I need everyone to get in this game. Neither one of us is here because we thought it would be easy. Making change is hard. It's what we've said from the beginning. And we've got the lumps to show for it. The fight this fall is as critical as any this movement has taken on together. And if we are serious about change, we need to fight as hard as we ever have. The very special interests who have stood in the way of change at every turn want to put their conservative allies in control of Congress. And they're doing it with the help of billionaires and corporate special interests underwriting shadowy campaign ads. If they succeed, they will not stop at making our work more difficult -- they will do their best to undo what you and I fought so hard to achieve. There is no better time for you to start fighting back -- a fellow grassroots supporter has promised to match, dollar for dollar, whatever you can chip in today. I know that sometimes it feels like we've come a long way from the hope and excitement of the inauguration, with its "Hope" posters and historic crowds on the National Mall. I will never forget it. But it was never why we picked up this fight. I didn't run for president because I wanted to do what would make me popular. And you didn't help elect me so I could read the polls and calculate how to keep myself in office. You and I are in this because we believe in a simple idea -- that each and every one of us, working together, has the power to move this country forward. We believed that this was the moment to solve the challenges that the country had ignored for far too long. That change happens only from the bottom up. That change happens only because of you. So I need you to fight for it over the next 26 days. I need your time. I need your commitment. And I need your help to get your friends and neighbors involved. If you bring in a new donor today, your $3 donation will become $6. And our Vote 2010 campaign will have twice the resources to make important investments like putting staff on the ground, providing materials for volunteers, and turning out millions of voters come Election Day. Please donate $3 or more today -- and renew your commitment: If we meet this test -- if you, like me, believe that change is not a spectator sport -- we will not just win this election. In the years that come, we can realize the change we are seeking -- and reclaim the American dream for this generation. Thank you for being a part of it, President Barack Obama | |
