Unemployment? Forget 9%. The reality is over 50%.
"Only 45.4% of Americans had jobs in 2010, the lowest rate since 1983 and down from a peak of 49.3% in 2000. Last year, just 66.8% of men had jobs, the lowest on record."
If you count people on welfare and retirees and those who have given up on finding work, you get a wholelot more "unemployed" than the government want you to think there are.
Osama and friends want the shrinking workforce to pay ever more in taxes to support the growing masses of non-working.
And I thought slavery was illegal under our Constitution.
