Climate change! Hide!

A new HIGHLIGHTED article from the AP on the front page of last Wednesday's Beloit Daily News seems to ignore the fact that the IPCC is not trustworthy these days. Can't find a link to it, unfortunately, but it parroted all the tired old Algore memes. Got to "do something NOW" or we're all gonna die!

My reply:

On Wednesday, August 12th, there was a front-page article about how the world is going to end if we all don't "do something right now" about "climate change". Back in the 1970's, we were supposed to prepare for an ice age - then in the 1990's, for "global warming". Neither seems imminent today, so now it's "climate change", something that cannot be measured. We need to do something now, before the truth comes out and ruins the crisis.

It's called "weather" by people who don't have a political or ideological axe to grind. Heat waves, rain, storms, drought - it's all happened before, and likely it will all happen again.

The "experts" such as the UN's IPCC, have been pretty much shown up as charlatans and liars, pushing "climate change" as a means to a one-world government with strict controls over all of human activity - except for the elite, such as Al Gore, who will live their lavish lifestyles on the backs of the peons who will pay the "carbon taxes" demanded to end the "crisis".

Computer models are only as good as the input they are given, and the understanding of the modeler of the system being modeled. Climate models are far from exact - and reputable climatologist will admit this. We can't even reliably predict rain and violent storms more than a day in advance - how can we expect to model the whole Earth's climate?

Why, exactly, did this column rate a special highlighting? Isn't it about time for the media to realize the massive con-job that has been attempted has misfired, and the people are wise to the machinations of the radical environmentalists?

Enough with the "climate change". Please refer to "weather" as weather from now on - it's still news, but Chicken Little has left the building.
