And then there was one...

Illinois will have the distinction of being the last holdout.

Wisconsin’s Personal Protection Act Scheduled to be Signed by the Governor Tomorrow, July 8!

Senate Bill 93, the Personal Protection Act, has already been sent to Governor Scott Walker for his approval and is scheduled to be signed into law tomorrow, July 8.

After passing both chambers of the Wisconsin Legislature with strong bipartisan support, this groundbreaking legislation now only needs the Governor’s approval to be enacted into law. Since it’s passage in the Wisconsin Legislature last month, we have received a number of questions regarding the specifics of this bill. To answer those questions and to serve as a resource for those interested in what this legislation entails and how it will affect all law-abiding citizens in Wisconsin, the NRA has compiled a fact sheet which can be found here.

This comprehensive Right-to-Carry law – widely considered one of the best in the country – will take effect on November 1.
