A U.S. Army Civil Affairs and Psychological Operations (CA & PSYOP) Command battalion recently practiced joint control of a small town with local authorities in a “realistic training exercise.”Beloit recently received some sort of APC. Friends have seen it driving around town.
There is no legitimate reason for a police department in America to have battlefield equipment - or a SWAT team, for that matter. The Second Amendment says less about arming the police than about duck hunting.
