The Wisconsin Supreme Court upheld Governor Walker's Act 10, that removes the power of most public unions to hold the taxpayers hostage for higher wages.

And, Voter ID was upheld. This is still in limbo because a federal court got involved in a state's rights issue they had no business messing with, but little care they for the law...

Town board meeting tonight

The Town of Beloit Supervisors - our employees - are having a meeting tonight at 7 PM to discuss banning CCW at town meetings and in the town hall. The local community college, Blackhawk Tech, has already stated they want to ban even pepper spray, as I posted recently, completely removing any possibility of a student being capable of defense from an attack, and rendering the whole campus as a free fire zone.

I'll update on the proceedings.

Just got back. Took my wife, met my neighbor and two other guys showed up - a total of five spectators. All of us were opposed to the proposed ban on CCW in town buildings.

The board voted to abandon the ordinance after some good discussion.

A small victory for freedom!
