This e-mail is being sent to because either you or someone you know has requested a spot in the "Lawful Concealed Carry and Self Defense" class that I will be holding on February 23rd.

The class will be held in a rented room at Peoples Church in Beloit, WI.  The address is 340 W. Grand Ave.  Enter the parking lot from W. Grand and drive all the way around the back of the building to the right. The class begins at 9:00am and will be finished by 2:00pm.  The price for the class is $50.00 and that includes all of your course materials and documents that you will need to apply for a Wisconsin CCW permit.  If you are a resident of the state of Wisconsin you must have a Wisconsin CCW permit before you can apply for any other states non-resident permit.  The class price does not include the $50.00 that you need to send to the Wisconsin DOJ for your permit.

This class also meets the mandatory training requirements for the state of Utah.  Upon completion of the class you will be able to apply for a non resident permit.  A non resident of Wisconsin can apply right away for a Utah.  I will go into greater details regarding any permit questions you may have during the class, so please don't lose sleep over what you should apply for.

No student firearms are needed or allowed in the class.  There will be regular breaks during the class and snacks and lunch will be provided.

Payment can be made the day of the class by check or cash.  Please make checks out to KSAC Training LLC.

If you and or someone you have contacted will be attending this class, PLEASE, respond back to this e-mail with the correct spelling of your name, and anyone who will be attending with you, as it appears on your drivers license or state issued ID.  I need this so that I can print up course completions certificates prior to the class.

Lastly, I still have openings for this class.  If you know of anyone else who may be interested in attending, please let me know so that I can save a spot for them as well.

We are about to enter our "busy" season for free concealed carry classes now that the holidays are over.  We have the first class of the new year in the schedule:

In order to receive you concealed carry license you have to have "proof of training" Wisconsin Carry is offering a free concealed carry license training class.

If you attend this class you will leave with your proof of training certificate. That and an application you download from the Wisconsin Dept. of Justice website is all you need to get your concealed carry license (you also have to pay the DOJ $50 application fee)

Usually these classes cost about $100 but Wisconsin Carry offers them for free. Class is free and open to the public. Feel free to share with friends and family.

Mike Hendricks is giving up his Saturday January 5th to give a free Concealed Carry Class brought to you from Wisconsin Carry Inc!! Wisconsin Carry has a limited schedule of free concealed carry license training courses over the summer months.  If you attend one of these classes, you will leave with the "proof of training" document you need to submit with your concealed carry license application to the State of Wisconsin.

Wisconsin Carry, Inc. has 3 free concealed carry license classes coming up. One class is in Medford, WI (Taylor County)  one in Juneau, WI (Dodge County) and a 3rd in Elkhorn, WI (Walworth County) If you or anyone you know needs to obtain the state mandated "proof of training" to obtain or possibly obtain, your concealed weapon license in the future, these classes are FREE courtesy of Wisconsin Carry, Inc. and open to the public.  These classes typically cost between $80 and $150 from for-profit entities.

As you all know Wisconsin Carry offers FREE concealed carry license training classes all over the state.  We strongly advocate for constitutional carry and believe that ultimately, the government should not be mandating training for the right to carry for self-defense.  We believe VOLUNTARY training is a "good thing".

We also believe that formal paid-for training is only 1 of many methods to increase your self-defense/use of a gun for self-protection skills and experience.  There are a multitude of free methods which SHOULD be employed for personal development.  Books, DVD's, Online resources, Youtube video's from reputable sources all provide limitless amounts of information you can objectively review, analyze, and adopt into your skillset if you choose.

Wisconsin Carry on very rare occasion (once or twice a year) will share unique formal training opportunities with our members and those who have taken our free CCL course IF these formal training opportunities come from sources that support WCI and our mission of CONSTITUTIONAL CARRY for Wisconsin.

The following is one of those opportunities.  Dominic Ferraro and his "Advanced Protection Group" have been SOLID supporters of Constitutional Carry, VOLUNTARY training and also WCI and our mission and methods with our Free Concealed Carry License Classes.

WCI believes the strategic direction of Dominic and APG to offer advanced training on a voluntary basis is a great one and we are happy to share the following opportunity. Details:

Place: Marathon Trap and Sportsman's Club (Exit 188 on I39/US 51 to county N and drive West about 7 miles (North Side of Cty N about 1/2 mile past Intersection of Cty O and Cty N)
 
Date: Sunday, March 10th, 2012
 
Time: Two Sessions: Morning 8:00 AM to 12 Noon or Afternoon 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM 
 
We will start the class on time.  Please arrive by: Morning Session 7:45 AM, Afternoon Session 12:45 PM to check in and fill out forms.

Wisconsin Carry concealed carry course

Yesterday, I took my wife to a free concealed carry training course in Elkhorn. It was presented by members of Wisconsin Carry, Inc.

This course was very well done. Four hours. The presenters knew their stuff, and answered numerous questions. I would recommend their courses to anyone needing to get certified CCW training for Wisconsin.

Mari now has her certificate of training. When we get the $50 together, she will be able to apply for her permit.

And then we have to find a nice gun for her. :)
